Symptom
Your software tells you during installation that PHP's max_input_vars setting is not enough. It requires a setting such as "1000" or "3000".
Solution
Before you increase max_input_vars you should know what the setting means. This setting controls how many POST or GET variables can be passed per page call to a script at most. So if you're using a script that asks you to transfer up to 3000 variables per page view, you should ask yourself if the script is of sufficient quality to work reliably. For what is the need for a web browser to transfer several thousand variable values to the server when a page is requested or posted? Normally programs should be made in such a way that the server knows its variables and does not have to receive them in such a large quantity from the browser.
The max_input_vars variable can only be set via a php.ini setting. It is not possible to control it via init_set ()
in the PHP source code or php_value
in the .htaccess file. If you want a particular max_input_vars setting, please email your request to our support.
